Come join us and share the joy of dance!

The students we serve are multi-talented, and excited about trying different creative modes for expressing their ideas and feelings on and outside of the page. Austin Bat Cave’s collaboration with Leap of Joy to host a Choreopoems workshop will provide space and instruction for them to create art pieces utilizing writing and movement to express themselves in new meaningful ways and share their work with different audiences. The students who participate in these workshops have the opportunity to publish their work in the ABC Annual Anthology, and also be a part of campus performances and showcases. We hope to create a database of video and audio archives of student pieces that feature dance performances, oral stories, podcasts, and more to share with the wider creative community.
