July 26th marks the 78th birthday of our beloved Judy. This year, we want to celebrate not only her life but also her incredible commitment to making a difference through Leap of Joy.
Leap of Joy brings the transformative power of dance and theater to students in under-resourced communities. Over the past 16 years, Judy has dedicated herself to building this program — one that fosters creativity, confidence, and self-expression in young people. However, we are now facing significant challenges, as many of our grant sources are on hold or have been eliminated. This jeopardizes the future of the programs Judy has worked so hard to build.
